The New College Independent Alumni/ae Association began in July 2007. Concerned about the future of New College, alumni and alumnae contacted each other by phone and email. They created a listserv on riseup.net. Alumnae went to ad hoc coalition meetings with representatives of the Interim Independent Student Council, Faculty Council, and Adjunct Council. We are working towards getting chartered and creating our own governance. If you are a graduate of any program in the New College of California, or a former student, please join us!
